CYO Athletics

The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) is a part of the comprehensive youth ministry programs for St. John Vianney Regional School. Through athletics and academic activities, CYO is designed to be representative of the Christian values of respect, love, compassion and support for each other. Through sports, competition and teamwork, CYO athletics and academic activities provide healthy growth and development through games, practices and the life lessons that competition can teach. 



CYO provides youth with opportunities to develop morally, spiritually, mentally, physically and socially. The CYO is jointly sponsored and administrated by the school and three parishes. The objective for all CYO programs and activities is to be well organized, uniform in philosophy, properly supervised and based upon Catholic values and principles.



CYO Athletics is not just about the final score…

It's about positive coaching, sportsmanship for children and their parents, learning to live together in a diverse community, maximizing talents, and fostering the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual strength in each of us.
