Quality faith-filled curriculum is at the heart of St. John Vianney Regional School school. Our teachers are skilled in knowing what to teach in a subject, how to teach it and when to teach it. In addition, curriculum is constantly being evaluated and when necessary adapted or changed. At St. John Vianney we have an annual review of curriculum that ensures what we are teaching remains academically sound and is up-to-date.

St. John Vianney is also constantly searching for new and better ways to deliver the curriculum to our twenty-first century learners. With the introduction of technology, SMARTBoards and access to the Internet have been incorporated into the classrooms to reinforce research and studies found in school books and encyclopedias.

Our teachers instill a love of learning while encouraging each student to reach his or her academic potential. So the “how” they learn, in the curriculum, becomes as important as the “what” they are learning. Our curriculum is a traditional one of core subjects enhanced by a broad range of specialty areas. Teachers also make every effort to teach to each child’s greatest strength and modality of learning. We believe our approach to this traditional curriculum is thoughtful, intelligent, and cutting-edge.
