The highlight of our 8th Graders graduating year is their February production of a play or musical. The students begin with auditions in the Fall in preparation for their stage debut. Every student is required in some capacity, from acting and singing to just being a part of the stage crew and lighting. Directed by Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Wenner and 8th Grade teacher Mrs. Heintzelman, this play is a team-building activity that brings our future graduates together for one last fun project.



The 8th Grade play has three shows at the end of February and is free for all SJV students, families and the general public to attend. Donations are welcome as the 8th Graders play funds the students' graduation field trip to New York City in May.



The 8th Grade is the only year in which the students and families will fundraise specifically for graduation year activities and events such as their NYC Trip, Graduation Dance, Post Play party and more.
